Due to being aware of the time loops and being able to prepare accordingly, he manages to avert quite a few deaths. Awesomeness by Analysis: Shirou is a lot better at planning this time around.Actually Pretty Funny: Shirou rarely laughs, if at all, but apparently, according to Minori, even he couldn't hold back his laughter when Ayako forced her younger brother to disguise himself and pretend he was her lover so she wouldn't lose a bet with Rin over who can get a boyfriend first.Shirou is an accomplished archer (having been a member of the school's archery club without ever missing the bull's-eye except the one time he felt like doing so) and, following some training from Saber and watching Archer, becomes fairly proficient in swordplay. He inherited this dream from his adoptive father Kiritsugu Emiya ( who had given up on it) and is extremely naive on what it takes to reach that ideal, though he's also aware of that much himself.Īfter the Grail War ended, Shirou, oddly enough, seems to have mostly retired into a casual day to day existence that is only interrupted by the sudden restarting of the Grail War, which he feels he needs to investigate as well as his confusion as to how the Servants are all still around. His dream is to become a "Hero of Justice", someone who can selflessly protect the lives of everyone from disaster. However, he also has a Reality Marble, Unlimited Blade Works, which allows him to store and copy (he calls this copying Tracing) any weapon he has seen, including other Noble Phantasms. The protagonist of the series, Shirou is a rather untalented magus whose only skills are Structural Analysis and Reinforcement magecraft, which allows him to analyze the physical make-up of an object and then strengthen it.
